Frequently asked questions

How can you help me?

As a social worker dedicated to supporting families of neurodiverse children, I can offer a range of assistance tailored to your needs. I can help you navigate the educational and therapeutic services available to ensure your child receives the best possible support. I can connect you with local support groups and resources where you can find community and shared experiences. Together, we can develop strategies to manage daily challenges and advocate for your child's rights and inclusion. I'm here to listen, provide guidance, and empower you with the tools and knowledge to support your child's growth and well-being.

What makes you different from other practitioners?

What sets me apart from other practitioners is my unwavering commitment to supporting families by putting them first. I always listen to parents' difficulties with empathy and understanding. Rather than being a specialist in one area only, I provide an overarching understanding of the resources available and how they can be accessed to assist each family's unique situation.

What happens in the first session?

In our first session, I'll work with you to create a safe and supportive environment where you can share your concerns, challenges, and goals. I'll listen to your story, ask questions, and help you gain insight into your situation. Together well establish your needs and start to develop a plan to meet those needs.

Are appointments online or in person?

Whilst I offer both online and in-person sessions, currently I only have in person sessions available. In-person sessions take place at my Cambridge office. If you would still prefer an online session due to living in a different part of the country, please contact me.

How much do you charge?

In-person sessions are $185 per hour. This fee includes not just the time spent with you but also the additional work I do outside of the appointment to ensure you get the best possible results. If any extra work is needed beyond this, we'll agree on any additional fees together before proceeding.
